From 18th to 20th of March 2020 Barcelona will hold the EUROPEAN MENTORING SUMMIT.
This international congress has been held every second year in Europe. The summit has become a think tank and an opportunity to fasten mentoring experiences and to get inspired by professionals at a high level. Attendants and participants share theory, experiences and benefits of mentoring for social inclusion. It is also a unique occasion to present new projects of interest for the mentor community.
NGO’s and organisations from all around present their candidacies, but only a few projects are selected. Dones Mentores has been one of the selected projects for this year’s summit!
We will talk about the need to introduce gender perspective in all mentoring programs, our experiences with survivors of violence and some evidences obtained so far. We feel glad about having been given this opportunity. It is a challenge for us considering that 2020 represents our 3rd year on the field.
