What happens when a woman accompanies another woman from a listening, trusting and non-judgmental standpoint? This is the essence of Dones Mentores, the protagonist of the last program of the season of El Magazín de Ràdio Sant Feliu.
Sílvia and Lina shared their experience; the calm construction of a bond and a reciprocal refuge, an “oasis” for Lina, a learning of resilience for Sílvia.
From a feminist and community perspective, Dones Mentortes helps to regain confidence, strengthen self-esteem, rebuild agency, re-signify one’s own strengths… Because, when a woman accompanies another, not only is a story transformed: an entire network of support, empowerment and hope grows.
